The Thorny RoseThorny Rose

Inside a thorny bush hidden from the eyes,
Is where a fragile lonely bud resides.

Beautiful and soft in its colours red,
Begging to be seen this flower head.

Delicate and fragile, easy to break.
Unlike the thorns, not much it can take.

The thorn are hard and tough and strong,
Winding and tangling and standing long.

Dare to face the thorns and you will see,
The rare and breathe taking natural beauty.

Do not let every thorny bush be ignored,
For you may see something inside you restored…
